I created this video for a Professional Technologies course as part of my Technical Communication and Rhetoric degree from Utah State University. I used the free version of Camtasia to create the video and utilized my script writing, video editing, web design, and captioning skills throughout the process. I wrote the script for my video to have an eighth-grade comprehension level for a wide range of audiences. I included several “good job” statements in the video to encourage the viewer and spoke slowly so they could follow along easily. It was important to me to caption the video to provide an equal learning experience for all viewers and enhance their learning.

Although this video was created with Camtasia, I am also familiar with Adobe Premier and complimentary Adobe products, such as InDesign and Photoshop. I am also familiar with the basics of filming,

including lighting and microphone use.
